Healthy Break

           Healthy Break

Children are encouraged to have a small snack at break time and we are keen to promote Healthy Breaks which are compulsory Monday to Thursday.

Children are welcome to bring their own healthy break to school.

Mrs Kelly our School Cook provides a range of healthy break options each day from which children choose a snack for their break.  Healthy break options include a selection of fruit day such as melon, orange, kiwi, apple.  Also available throughout the week are toast, pancake, crackers and cheese and fruit yoghurts.

Healthy break costs £1.20 per week (Monday-Thursday) and is collected on the Friday previous to the week children wish to have healthy break, this is to accommodate Mrs Kelly in ordering the correct quantities of food.  Please note Healthy break provided by Mrs Kelly is paid for in weekly blocks or 30p per day around holiday periods and is not available to purchase for individual days throughout the week.

A small treat is allowed on a Friday (please choose this sensibly and do not provide children with over-sized bags of sweets or crisps). Fizzy drinks are not allowed at any stage during the school day.
