WE ARE INCREDIBLY PROUD OF OUR SCHOOL CHOIR
17th Apr 2026
On Tuesday, our wonderful choir returned to the Portadown Music Festival, and every single member represented Clare Primary School with pride, confidence, and enthusiasm. Following a very successful school production in March, the choir showed tremendous dedication—committing fully to rehearsals and performing with focus and professionalism on stage, following every instruction with care.
The children also behaved impeccably throughout the day, with several members of the public and festival attendees—unconnected with Clare Primary School—commenting positively on their conduct and attitude. This was a real credit to the pupils and the school.
In a closely contested class, the choir was awarded second place, a great achievement and a valuable experience for their first time back on the festival platform. Most importantly, they performed to a very high standard and should be extremely proud of what they achieved together. Well done to everyone involved!
