The children in Primary Four to Primary Seven entered a calendar Competition organised by the Ulster Teachers’ Union. They had to draw a picture to depict one of the four seasons. Louise Creelman, President of the Ulster Teachers’ Union visited our school with some very exciting news! Isla’s picture had been chosen from hundreds of entries across Northern Ireland and her picture of a butterfly and a bumble bee has been used as the picture for September in the Ulster Teachers’ Union’s calendar. Louise presented Isla with an Amazon voucher, a selection box and the calendar which features her picture. Huge congratulations to Isla and well done to everyone in Primary four to Primary Seven who enthusiastically participated in this competition.
