Tandragee 100
Mr Robert Sinton and his mother Mrs Sheila Sinton (grandfather and great grandmother of Evie- P6 and Joe -P4) joined us in school today for a very exciting visit. They brought along two of the Tandragee 100 competitors: James Doyle and Ian Thompson who kindly participated in a great question and answer session with the children. We all really enjoyed hearing about their racing careers and seeing their motorbikes on which they will be racing at the weekend and even collecting a few autographs too. The children have been busy decorating our school for the Tandragee 100 and Mrs Sinton picked the winner for the colouring competition congratulations to P6 pupil Emily.
Thank you to the Sinton family and the riders for taking time out of their exceptionally busy schedule to come and visit our school. We would like to wish the organisers and competitors well and hope a successful and safe event for al!
Remember Clare Primary School is available as a bike park over the weekend -thank you to Friends of Clare for running this event!
