LEAVERS' ASSEMBLY
And that’s a wrap!
On Monday, we celebrated our wonderful P7s as they said goodbye to Clare Primary School. Thank you to everyone who came along to celebrate and recognise the hard work and achievements they have made throughout their time with us.
It was lovely to hear the P7s share some of their favourite moments from their time in Clare Primary School and in doing so they evoked many happy memories and achievements from the past seven years. They also showcased some of their many talents and gave us all many reasons to smile.
Mr Lavelle McIlwrath, Deputy Lord Mayor for ABC Council shared some words of encouragement and advice for our P7s as they progress to their new schools- the importance of teamwork and determination. Thank you to Mr McIlwrath for presenting our awards and trophies to our P7s -congratulations everyone on your fantastic achievements!
A special thank you to Ian Burrows for piping the children through the guard of honour and making their final walk through the school gates truly memorable. We are also very grateful to our drum tutor, Barney, for joining us on this special occasion.
We wish all of our P7 pupils the very best as they move on to secondary school and we hope everyone enjoys a well-earned, restful summer.
