INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PLAY

12th Jun 2026

Today we proudly celebrated the International Day of Play and recognised Article 31 of the UNCRC, which highlights every child’s right to rest, leisure and play.

To mark this special day, we enjoyed an extra 31 minutes of play and got creative by making lots of “31s” to remember just how important play is for children’s wellbeing, learning and happiness.

Play is powerful—it builds confidence, imagination, friendships and joy.

We’d love to encourage all of our families to continue the celebration at home by making time for play together—especially the screen-free kind. Whether it’s outdoors, board games, creative activities or simply being silly together, those shared moments really matter.

Let’s keep play at the heart of childhood.
