On Wednesday 17th April we fielded two hockey teams at the George Compston Memorial tournament, hosted by the pupils of The City of Armagh High School and CR Hockey. Our mixed team came a respectable 2nd place in a very tough section and the girls’ team came 4th in their section. The goal scorers in the mixed team were Noah (1) and Henry (7), while Elsa (1), Violet (2) and Charlotte (1) scored goals for the girls’ team. Tara only let in 2 goals for the mixed team and they were undefeated throughout the tournament. As always we are delighted to see our teams play competitively against local ‘big’ schools.
